Brian Baker, AutoArcheology, LLC

Brian will present on the process of how concepts make it to production cars at GM. He will discuss the creative freedom that designers have when developing concepts and how for every car makes it to production, there are thirty others that have never been seen by the public. Brain will discuss how thousands of sketches are created, edited and eliminated through a stringent process where select models are scaled to full-size art, eventually green lit for an auto floor. Brian will share the story of how he emerged from influences of his hometown of Indianapolis and the car culture there, to working the world over before helping to lead the development of one of the most controversial cars GM ever put into production in record time.
